The Jealous Monster

Tonight Cojak and Scooter got into a fight!!!! I was outside patroling the grounds and I was doing a pretty good job too let me tell you!

Anyway, I started hearing all this growling and carrying on, so I was off at top speed to find out what was going on. I rounded the corner in the front of the house and see Cojak and Scooter just going at it, and Jonathan right in the middle trying to break them up. Whew! I'm glad my human didn't get hurt, he's still just a kid, well in my eyes anyway!

So the story is I heard from the pups that Jonathan came outside and was playing a bit with them, and was petting on Scooter, next thing ya know, guess who got jealous!?! Cojak is a jealous monster! He has to have all the attention, but sometimes Scooter wants some too.

My daddy was upset with Jonathan for not coming to get him so he could help, but Jonathan didn't want to leave Cojak alone with Scooter, cause Cojak is a BIG boy. It wasn't a bad fight, and only Scooter got a bit of blood around his ear.

Needless to say, Cojak is spending some time in Time Out!

Got get back to patroling my grounds now, sniff ya later!

Two flew the coop

Thought I'd share my two babies that have grown up and are no longer living with us. This is Buddy, he is my only boy. He's a character, lots and lots of energy too.
My Grandma and Grandad got him to help guard their house.


This here is Layla, isn't she pretty! She lives up in northern Ohio with a very nice family now. They have 2 other Pei as well. I miss her though, hope she is a good girl.

Mommy was really busy today, and I almost didn't get to blog! OMDog, what, not blog? So anyway, I was thinking earlier in the day about what to say for today, and I keep seeing my daughter Tinkerbell setting at the kitchen table begging Jonathan for a niblet of whatever he's eating. She's such a beggar. So anyway, I am wondering how in the world did she learn to set like a frog? I sure didn't teach her that!

Clean Monday

I had a very involved weekend! First off, the food was scrumptous! We really should have the 4th of July more often. The boomy things at night, though, I could do without.

We had a company stop over for food too. She's not my favorite person in the world, so I was on high alert, the entire time she was here. Mommy said something about her being my daddy's sister, I don't care, I remember her coming over right after I had my babies, and I think she tried to take one! I was good though and herded her right out of the room at the time. Since then, she's been very suspicious looking to me!

Oh, and I must confess, I got a bath the other day too! Sheesh, I tried to hide, but mommy found me under the table, must find a better place. I did smell much better after though. Cojak and Mariah got a bath too! Cojak is such a big boy, it takes mommy and Jonathan both to lift him up to the utility sink. Whew, she said that it was hard work. Maybe she shouldn't do it so often, is what I'm thinking.

Well, it's my nap time now, so I'll be back tomorrow!

Happy Fourth of July

Today we were outside and started smelling something very yummy!


Mommy and Daddy were saying something about the 4th of July and grilling out, could this be it, and if so, why don't we have the 4th of July more often, it sure smells yummy!

Some of us were outside sniffing the air, and some were inside where other yummies were going on in the kitchen. We just hung around hoping for a niblet or two.

Daddy didn't disappoint, we all got to taste his grilling work. Num Num, sure was good, so Happy Fourth of July to everyone!

Some of us had to spend time outside making sure our daddy didn't over do it. He's been getting us ready for winter. He has been splitting wood all day!

It's ruff work, but we've been around to help.

They Grow too Fast

My mommy had to go to work early yesterday, so I didn't get my computer time. Sigh! So, this morning, after I went out to potty, I got her to let me on right away. I've got fans I said, I can't disappoint them, they are looking for a story!

Didn't know what I was going to post, but I got alot of fan mail about the babies the other day, so I thought I'd post another picture of the 3 that stayed with us. This is them while they were still wee things, but growing rapidly. Now, they are as big, and bigger than me, my time sure flies.
