I must say Dakota took to being a Christmas pei much better than I did! I was not very happy having to put that thing on, and Mommy just had to take a picture even though I tried my best to stay hidden under the kitchen table. Daddy found me and helped me "hold still" like a good little girl. Blegh!
Some of my girls are starting to go up and down the steps, but Tink nor Mariah will dare go down the basement steps. I'm really not sure why, cause I the Belle of the Ball zoom up and down them just to show them how easy it can be.Thought I should also take this time to mention that mommy really enjoyed her time off of work, but now she's back at it again so I don't get to see her as often as I like. My mommy should always be around for lots of cuddles I think.
This is a picture of Tink when she snuck upstairs one day. She will go up and down those steps but not the wood ones to the basement. Just as well, too many things for the young pups to get into down there.
It was quite chilly outside today!!!! Seems like winter is on its way here. I bet we have a fire going later tonight.
Here is the latest on our buddy Scooter. The vet seemed to the think his teeth were ok? Mommy couldn't quite figure that one out. Anyway, the vet seemed to think that maybe it was a virus or something so he got medicine which he hates by the way. She gave him some special medicine for his digestive system as well. By day 2 of being on the medicines, he was eating again!!!! Yay!!!Daddy was very glad, as Scooter is his "Little Buddy". When he took him to the vet, Cojak wanted to go too and tried to get in the car. I'm sure if he had realized where they were off to he would have ran the other way. Needless to say, Cojak was not very happy he did not get to go. Mommy did not know this, and when daddy got back with Scooter, Cojak jumped all over Scooter!!! He is such a jealous boy!!!! They had to stay seperated for awhile, and now all is back to normal!

This is Mariah! She does this if Mommy goes outside and leaves her inside. Or when Mommy comes home and she can't see her yet. She's just nosey, she likes to know what is going on outside.
Here's another pix from our past. Mommy likes to look at these alot. Here's another pix of Tink when she was a wee thing. I wanted to give an update about the wounds she got from the mean dog next door. It appears that she has healed up all nice. She still goes out there and looks for the mean doggie though. So far we havent' seen him anymore.
Not too much to report here in Peiland today. Mommy dug out this picture of my three little girls when they were just wee things. My, they sure have grown!!! They will be 2 on the 3rd of December!!!
This is what Mariah does the best!!!! She loves to nap!!! All the time. She follows me around everywhere outside though, that is until she realizes mommy isnt there and then she runs really fast back to the door to get inside. She is mommy's little shadow.

Nothing much else to report from Peiland, other than to say mommy says she gets the whole weekend off!!! I was really glad to hear this, until I realized this most likely means some doggies are going to get a bath!!! Uh-oh, I better go in search of a new hiding place.

Saturday was Cojak's 3rd birthday!!! He's a big boy mommy says!
The other day when Mommy tried to post our pixxy of all 6 of us, poor Scooter got cut off on the right hand size. This is Scooter, he is a Shar Pei but he is different than the rest of us. He is a mini horsecoat. He is only about 35lbs. and Cojak is a whopping 84lbs. so you see there is quite a bit of difference.
My pal Mango said he'd like to see us all together, so my mommy dug up this picture of us to show again. From left to right its Cojak, the big guy, then my baby Mariah she follows me everywhere and when she isn't with me, she's with my mommy, then there's me, Chloe Belle. Next comes Dakota, Tink and finally the little bitty guy, Scooter. He is a mini pei and he also has the bone muzzle but he's still a pei, just a smaller version.
Well, it just couldn't last long. The peace and quiet I mean. Mommy finally had a day off of work yesterday, so it was a snoozing Sunday for all of us! We had a fire going, daddy watched football and mommy slept off and on all day on the couch, so I had lots of cuddle time with her.

Again Mommy has been busy and seems like Chloe is getting less and less puter time to blog. We must do something about this situation. Anyway, just wanted to let all know that last week Cojak had 2 tails when Mommy came back from walking the driveway to get the newspaper.
It's been really hot and humid here as I have complained about already. We got some thunderstorms in our yard today. So far, the only one to really stay outside for any long length of time is Cojak. He thinks he has to guard everyone and everything. 
We sent Mariah out early this morning to tell us about the weather. She came back and reported that the weather was humid and we should stay inside.
just wanted to give a little update on Dakota Mae's problem with her Ummm...glands. She seems to be doing better now, but Mommy thinks she will probably take her back to the V-E-T just to make sure.
Don't I look bored? I am, my mommy has been a busy person this week, and I have not gotten to get on here. I let her know today that we must work something out. The Bella needs to have a say, just about every day, not just one time a week. She said she'd get better at giving me my computer time, we'll see.
This weekend all went well at our house, how about at yours? We had fun playing all weekend. Mommy got us a mattress pad for our futon and it is even more comfy than before. My weekend was full of cuddles and snoopervising the area.
Cojak is still wearing his t-shirt, cause each time mommy takes it off, he scratches it and starts bleeding again.

Today it is quite humid outside and hot! Definitely not pei-weather in the least. So as I lay here right by the door, but still inside the air conditioning, I'm thinking of being outside when it's cool and chasing birdies. *Sigh* Autumn is still along ways off.
